Early Intervention

Network of Community Options, Inc. is a licensed provider of Early Intervention services through the Arkansas First Connections Program. This program, offered through the Arkansas Department of Human Services, Division of Developmental Disabilities Services, is a statewide system of services to assist infants, toddlers and their families. The Early Intervention program works with families on an individual basis to assist in locating and coordinating services and assistance to enhance not only the child's abilities but those of the family to assist their child.

Early Intervention services are authorized and partially funded through Part C of the Individuals With Disabilities Education Act.

To be eligible for Early Intervention services, children must be ages birth to thirty-six months who:

  • Have a developmental delay in one or more areas of development. This delay must be 25% or more of their chronological age.
  • OR

  • Have a medical diagnosis that has a high probability of resulting in a developmental delay.

Network of Community Options, Inc. offers center-based and home-based Early Intervention services through the Wee Care Child Enrichment Center in Highland, Arkansas.
